The event is open exclusively to all under-graduate students currently pursuing their graduation.
The team should comprise of 2 members each. Both members must belong to the same institute. However, there is no limitation in the number of teams that can apply from a single institute.
The event will be held in two Phases, first the Online Prelims followed by the Finals at XIMB.
On the basis of Online Prelims, finalist teams will be selected who will be invited to XIMB to play the final round.
Teams eligible for Phase 2 will be eligible for reimbursement of sleeper train fare to and from their college. The participants will also get food and accommodation in XIMB campus during the event.
Decision by the organizers will be final and binding.
Timelines
Phase1 (Prelims) Online Event – 23rd to 25th Oct and again on 31st Oct and 1st Nov.
Phase 2 (Finals) - November 13th and 14th, 2009 as a part of our annual event Xpressions.
Prizes
Total prize money of up to Rs. 45,000.
Online Prelims will be conducted:
- 23rd October at 10 PM
- 24th October at 10 PM
- 25th October at 7 PM
- 31st October at 2 PM
- 1st November at 5 PM
A set of questions will be uploaded on the documents section of the Xpressions 2009 website on each of the three days of the prelims at a pre-specified time.
The teams have to download the document, answer the questions and send the solutions along with your team name, institute, city and names of the team members.
You will be allowed 60 minutes to solve the questions after which you should post the solutions, late entries will be disqualified.
The prelims will be held on 3 consecutive days so that teams can participate on the day of their choice. You are supposed to participate on any one of the 3 days.
The questions will be general and will test your reasoning, logic and general awareness. It may cover GK, puzzles and questions on analyzing some situations or business problems.
